This bundle includes 2 items: (1) Shurflo 8000-533-250 Bypass 115 VAC Diaphragm Pump with (1) Shurflo 255-568 Inline Strainer. The Shurflo 8000-533-250 Bypass Pump is a 3 chamber diaphragm pump that offers the same reliability as a 12-volt pump but in a 115 VAC capacity. A low amp draw, compact size, and ability to mount in any position make this Shurflo 8000 Series Diaphragm Pump perfect to use on spot sprayers and agricultural sprayers for a variety of heavy-duty spraying applications that require flow rates up to 1.4 gpm. The bypass mode is useful in applications where a wide range of flows and pressures are required and where frequent stopping and starting of the motor is needed. An example is a spray boom with multiple nozzles, each controlled independently. The pump runs regardless of pressure in the system. Flow rate is different if one nozzle is turned on opposed to having two or more on. Once nozzles are turned off, excess flow is bypassed within the pump. The Shurflo 255-568 In-Line Strainer included in this bundle is a bowl-style, twist-on strainer that prevents debris from being drawn into your 115V electric diaphragm pump. Install this strainer / suction filter on the vacuum side of the pump head to help prevent debris and other particles from entering your pump. The strainer has polypropylene housing, nylon bowl, and 50 mesh stainless steel screen.
