They find utterance whenever two or three schoolmasters are gathered to gether. Desiring the expression of his opinions to be as fresh and spontaneous as possible, the author sedulously neglected to read any recent books on Education until the first draft of his book was completed. He found afterwards, however, that the views expressed some years ago by Messrs.
