The bananas are medium to large in size and fatter than the Chiquita Banana Gran Nain. These are beautiful, fast growing banana plants with long broad leaves. They can reach 12 to 16 feet tall and get over 6 feet tall within 9 months. How to Grow: Most all edible plants grow well in Full Sun, a little shade won’t hurt. For smaller starter plants I recommend growing in a shaded area and also try to keep temperature above 60 degrees. Banana Plants can be planted in most healthy soils with normal pH range 6.5-8. I recommend growing in a good organic potting soil with fertilizer and other beneficials mixed in like Fox Farm's Happy Frog. Bananas like it moist and the more consistently you keep your soil moist and your plant watered the bigger and sweeter your bananas will be.
